Duality

The Lover side of this collection is an internalized analysis of myself in my dealings with and my observations pertaining to the Black woman. She is often misunderstood and mistreated, and I do my best to celebrate, uplift, and hold accountable our Black women while expressing our obligation to them as Black men. I also attempt to be vulnerable about love, lust, heartbreak because that is the only way for it to be real and the bond between us is the foundation of our community. A man must be able to lead his family before he can lead a people and truly understanding that aspect will manifest in a man a valid reason to become The Fighter.
