My Book of Rhymes

"My Book of Rhymes" is a personal exploration through my life broken down into haikus, ballads, prose, short stories and more, creating imaginative fables with hidden allegories and life lessons intertwined in the raw, unforgiving wordplay influenced by hip hop music in its height of lyricism. Each "poem-story" feeds off of the last as a domino effect to the climax of each chapter, which in turn influences the start of the following chapter about a seemingly unrelated facet of life. In all, it is an enjoyably moving read creating one collective story with twists and turns not allotted with standard novel writing. Read with an open mind and it may change your vantage point, if only one chapter at a time.
